Willoughby Rangers

The Willoughby Rangers Soccer Club was founded by Allan Findley in 1976 and was active six years until 1982 when the club dissolved, with only one team carry the name forward in the Lake Erie Soccer League. The oldest team made a tour of the U.K. in 1980, playing 13 games in three weeks with a record of 4-7-2. Three members of the Wickliffe Fury (Perna, Rackov, and Workman) joined the club’s A Division in 1979 and played through 1982. Here are some memories of the club.
